  Awesome. Filipino food. Good management. It sucks they close sunday and monday but i respect that. Small store to but filipino stuff too.

  I have never had Filipino food from a restaurant before. I am Filipino and always feared that restaurant food would not taste as good as my family's recipes. Maresol exceeded my expectations! 100%! Authentic and absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that they ran out of cassava cake. However that just goes to show that it's probably delicious as well. If I ever crave Filipino but don't want to cook it myself, I'll be hitting up
  maresol.

  We finally found our Lumpia spot in Tacoma!! There are couple places that pop up when you search lumpia. Lumpia world is cool, but they have a terrible schedule... and when they are at events they have some great stuff but rarely have enough lumpia for the day. There is another place called NW lumpia, but I have yet to find this place. Maresol is down in Lakewood near the town center and is easy to get to and has a normal schedule.
  
  We came in last Saturday looking for a lighter lunch to satisfy us before dinner. We grabbed a few lumpia (6 I think) and a medium pancit. The lumpia were $1 a piece and the medium pancit was probably around $8.... I had to check the total on my bank app and either way it was $17 and some change with tip. Oh man if you could have seen the mountain of pancit they stuffed into that medium dish you would have been amazed. The food is great, the price is on point, and the quantity is amazing. This is definitely one of our favorite places in Lakewood and a must visit again.

  My mother likes this place. (I think she likes it because she is older now and doesn't like to cook the food herself anymore.) The food is ok. The kare kare is oily and has more bones than meat in it, on the bland side. The dinuguan is actually full of meat and decent but very salty. I eat the food when it is bought for me but if I am to spend money, I would rather my mother cook it or cook it myself.

  Rewards meal for successful housing transition of the aunt in the quiet, safe streets of Lakewood. Extra bonus for a well protected calderata spree as they service the servicemen at the nearby bases. Getting the rice quota has never been easier and maresol's bilingual customer service was as fluid as tagalish can be. With the monopolies of TFC paving the screens, filipino cuisines  at hand (eaten by hand), and customer appearances of four minimal and you have yourself a familiar nuclear enviroment ready to  explode in famine fever as every spec of flavor served on the plate vanishes into our interior landfills.
